What does “Caring for carers” mean to you?

– Everyone experiences emotional distress from time to time as a reaction to personal live events and social circumstances; mental health is therefore relevant to everyone. We are all in the same boat.

Extensive experience in mental health care, particularly at the intersection of education and social psychiatry. Involved with the Federation Global Initiative on Psychiatry since 1992 and, in that capacity, active in reform projects in more than twenty countries. In recent years, the focus has been primarily on Ukraine. Currently working as a Content Advisor at GGZ Ecademy, a Dutch non-profit partnership of educational institutions and mental health organizations. GGZ Ecademy develops e-learning courses for mental health professionals and students (in collaboration with people with lived experience).
